I am Francois , born & raised in Corsica, France. I have started Roastino Gourmet Restaurant late 2012 in Hemel Hempstead, Herts.
After an initial 8 months apprenticeship bakery and catering school in Corsica in 1974, I have worked in several French local bakeries and later London and Bournemouth restaurants in the late 70's / early 80's and also under Raymond Blanc at "Les Quat' Saisons, Summertown" ,Oxford followed by 4 very profitable & exiting years as demi-chef & Chef on board of cruise liners ( Royal Viking Sky and Pacific Princess ) in mid 80's.
In 1989 we created with my Cornish wife Julie in Herts & Bucks ( Aylesbury, Berkhamsted, Chesham, Amersham ) several delicatessen ( the French Bakery & Julie's deli ) and restaurants, while I was wholesaling imported food.
